Tens of thousands of people in Louisiana are picking up the pieces after Hurricane Ida ripped through dozens of communities this week.

News On 6’s Reagan Ledbetter and Craig Day spent several days in some hard-hit areas and found that the Oklahoma standard was on full display.

Oklahoma first responders tell us they aren't doing this for the money, or the pride factor, they say they are helping in Louisiana because helping your neighbor is the Oklahoma way.
