Oklahoma City police are looking for a man who led officers on a chase and allegedly fired at police Monday morning.
It happened shortly before noon on the city's northwest side.
Police were staged for several hours near the intersection of 143rd Street and Walker Avenue.
Police are looking for 29-year-old Aaron Sayre. They said he was driving a stolen vehicle near Memorial and Walker when officers attempted to pull him over.
In a statement, police said the suspect took off and a pursuit followed.
"The suspect vehicle wrecked, and at that time, the suspect bailed from the vehicle and started shooting at the officer, and the officer returned fire,” said Capt. Valerie Littlejohn, Oklahoma City Police Information Officer.

No injuries have been reported at this time.
Sayre took off running and is believed to have been picked up by someone driving a Nissan Cube.
Police said the suspect has outstanding felony warrants.
Police said Sayre is considered armed and dangerous -- if you see him or know where he might be -- call 911.
"He shot at an officer, so I'd take every precaution in believing he is armed and dangerous and not to approach him if anybody sees him,” Littlejohn said.
