Body Found Near Edmond; Troopers Investigate Death As An Auto-Pedestrian Crash

A body was found Friday morning near Edmond in an apparent auto-pedestrian crash, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.

The body was found near Broadway and Charter Oak Road.

Troopers said the a white man was found on the side of the grass near the roadway.

No vehicle was at the scene when troopers arrived, but investigators found vehicle debris at the scene.

Crash investigators think the person was hit by a vehicle before he died, troopers said.

Troopers said they will gather surveillance footage to try to determine the vehicle that was involved in the crash.
