The teen murder suspect at the center of a manhunt was caught.

Deputies spotted Robert Stockton Jr., 17, on the road Thursday morning. His mother, Maryann Beal, was already in custody.

Now that both are caught, deputies can piece together the homicide and fire started to cover it up. Both happened almost two months ago.

"At the time of the fire, this family was living there," said Aaron Brilbeck, Oklahoma County sheriff's office spokesman.

The Harrah Fire Department confirmed they were called to the blaze back on August 8.

The suspected murder happened sometime between July 22 and the fire.

Court records showed at least Beal, Stockton, and a witness lived at the home.

According to court documents, Stockton's stepfather Anthony Cannon took a shower on the night of the suspected homicide. Stockton followed him in, and that's when the witness said they heard gun shots. They then saw Cannon dead in the tub, with gunshots to his head and chest.

"Given the remains that were on scene, we couldn't personally identify the victim," said Brilbeck.

The medical examiner's office has yet to confirm the victim's identity.

The witness said Beal threatened to kill them if they told anyone. She is facing an accessory to murder complaint.

"[The] Allegation is that she in some way helped him out, either during the homicide or after the homicide," Brilbeck said.

Records show the mother and son then took Cannon's body outside.

The next day, they allegedly moved the remains to the driveway, doused it in gasoline and burned the body all night, into the next day. No one reported the victim missing.

When investigators called his workplace, a Papa Murphy's, to check if anyone there knew where Cannon was or where he had been for the last two months.

The manager said he was her husband; investigators notice the use of past tense. The manager then said the victim was her husband until he stole money from Papa Murphy's and disappeared.

The manager was Maryann Beal.

Oklahoma County deputies spent all night on patrol for Stockton. He had been known to own a 9mm handgun and an AK-47 rifle.

"He did not have any weapons on his body at the time. We seized the vehicle. We're waiting on a warrant to search the vehicle," said Brilbeck.

Stockton was arrested on a complaint of first-degree murder, but additional charges could be added on later.
