Eastbound Side Of Turner Turnpike Reopens After Semi Rollover Accident

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a rollover accident caused a shutdown of the eastbound side of the Turner Turnpike.

The accident, which happened near mile marker 162 on the turnpike, involved a rolled over semi truck, multiple vehicles and injuries reported.

The westbound side of the Turner Turnpike was down to one lane.

The eastbound side of the turnpike has since reopened.

Immediately following the accident, OHP said it re-routed traffic at the turnpike’s Wellston exit.
