Officers Respond To Homicide In Chickasha

One person is in custody in connection to a homicide in Chickasha.

It happened in the 900 block of S. 13th Street.

Officers found a man in the backyard showing obvious signs of homicide. The initial investigation revealed the man was a member of a federally recognized tribe.

Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police, FBI and OSBI were notified of the incident.

Lighthorse Police and the FBI will continue the investigation.
