Look for a warm and windy day today. It will be hot in western Oklahoma with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.

Gulf moisture surges in today. This will be fuel for severe storms later this evening. A powerful upper level storm is riding down I-40 from the west. This will give us the lift and energy for thunderstorms.

We are expecting isolated storms to develop in western Oklahoma between 7 and 10 p.m. A broken line of storms forms as the system moves into central Oklahoma.

The timeline for OKC is between midnight and 2 AM. Storms will be capable of hail up to golf balls, winds to 75 mph, and tornadoes possible.

Our team of trackers will be out, and we will keep you advised.
