You can find help here at the Chelsea Manor Apartments near Northwest 63rd and Meridian.

They will have stations open to help you fill out rental assistance paperwork.

"We have an application online. People can apply two hours a day, seven days a week, but for some people who do not have internet access or for some people that need assistance with the application process for a variety of reasons they can go to this application station," said Katie Fry, the Chief Operating Officer with Community Cares Partners.

COVID-19 has caused a lot of stress as people try to make ends meet, but Community Cares Partners has more than $100 million dollars to give out to help with rent payments or utilities.

"We have a 6-8-week lead time to get those applications processed. Utility assistance usually processes faster than rent," said Fry.

Renters who need assistance need to bring:

  1. An ID
  2. A check stub or other proof of income
  3. A copy of their lease
  4. A utility bill

They can use this money to help pay back rent from March 2020 and pay forward up to 3 months.

As for utilities, they can help with water, gas, and electricity.

If you have already applied and have questions about your status with Community Cares Partners, ask to go to their website.

For anyone who needs help applying, the rental assistance station is opening Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
