An Oklahoma City-based company recently donated $33,000 to an organization that provides service dogs for veterans who need them.

Paycom made the donation to Honoring America's Warriors, who provide the service dogs and training for disabled veterans who cope with anxiety and depression. The donation was made Nov. 10 in time for Veterans Day.

"It's a privilege to be able to give back to those who have given so much," said Paycom COO Jon Evans. "As someone who grew up in a military town, I am proud of Paycom's Partnership with an organization that works hard to provide tools and resources to help veterans and their families."

Honoring America's Warriors also hosts events that allow veterans who face similar issues meet up with each other, events such as family gatherings, outdoor events and adaptive sports for veterans who are paralyzed or amputees.

“The generous support from our community partners at Paycom will enable us to provide more service dogs for disabled veterans who need assistance,” said General Rita Aragon USAF (Ret.), board president at Honoring America’s Warriors.
