OKLAHOMA CITY -

Joseph Maldonado, popularly known as Joe Exotic, has been moved to a new federal prison medical facility in North Carolina to treat his recently-diagnoses prostate cancer.

His lawyers said they hoped he would be moved to Oklahoma as they appeal his case. His legal team is expecting a resentencing in the coming months.
