A police pursuit ended in dramatic fashion with the help of stop sticks. The chase ended Wednesday at the intersection of Coffee Creek Road and Coltrane.

According to police, the chase lasted several minutes after the driver refused to stop after making an illegal U-turn.

Police: "OK, we're back rolling again. They're passing stopped traffic."

Officers down the road readied their marks.

Police: "Get ready! Get ready! Hold on!"

With his tires blown, police dashcam video showed the driver swerve around shouldered police cars.

Unable to go any further, the car slowed to a stop at this intersection.

Police: "Step out of the vehicle and face away from us."

Police ordered Joshua Wariboko-Alali from his car and arrested him.

Police: "Walk backwards to the sound of my voice."

Police: Why didn't you pull over when the officer was behind you?

Wariboko-Alali: "I didn't see the officer, sir."

Police: "Everybody else saw me. You drove around them, they saw me just fine."

According to court documents, the suspect assaulted a police officer by throwing them to the ground while he was going to jail.
