OHP: At Least 1 Person Dies After Separate Accident On Interstate 40

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed Friday that a second accident on I-40 resulted in at least one fatality Friday morning.

The accident happened on the westbound lanes of the interstate near the U.S. Highway 81 interchange in El Reno.

An earlier accident on the interstate Friday resulted in an injured semi truck driver, cattle and traffic delays.

As of 9:50 a.m. Friday, both the eastbound and westbound lanes of I-40 have been reopened following both accidents.
