OHP Trooper Hit By Suspected Drunk Driver

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper was hit early Wednesday morning by a suspected drunk driver, troopers report.

Troopers said the person that hit the trooper’s vehicle has been arrested for alleged DUI.

The driver has been identified as Chandler Parrish.

OHP reported the trooper was taken to the hospital by a personal vehicle and has already been released.

Broadway Extension northbound was briefly shut down after the crash and the scene is now clear, troopers said.
