Driver Killed In 3-Vehicle I-40 Crash Identified

An Oklahoma City man is dead after an accident involving three vehicles on Tuesday morning.

According to OHP, the crash happened on Interstate 40 near Meridian Avenue around 7:15 a.m. Officers said the driver of the semi lost control of his truck and overturned, striking a concrete wall before it was engulfed in flames.

Troopers have identified the man as 64-year-old Sam Chitty of Oklahoma City.

OHP is still investigating what caused the accident.
