Four full-sized soccer fields on the west side of the Indian Springs Sports Complex in Broken Arrow will soon be converted to artificial turf.
It's an area that the city says gets a lot of use during soccer tournaments.
The project bid was just awarded by the city council and will cost about $2.5 million, money that will come from a 2018 GO bond.
It includes drainage and concrete work as well as new player benches and maintenance equipment.
The project is expected to start in February and take about 9 months to complete.
