Snow is likely Wednesday across western, southwestern and central Oklahoma, according to News 9 Meteorologist Cassie Heiter.
The wintry precipitation will pick up later Wednesday morning across western parts of the state and will gradually increase throughout the day from west to east. The heaviest amounts of snow (3 to 4 inches) will be in western Oklahoma.
Snow should begin in Oklahoma City around 2-3 p.m. and continue into the evening. Totals for the metro could be about an inch with isolated higher totals on the west side of the metro.
Expect slick spots along roadways and especially bridges and overpasses into the evening.
