OHP: 1 Person Killed In Wrong-Way Crash Along I-35

One person is dead after a wrong-way crash with a semi along I-35, at Northeast 63rd Street, on Friday morning, according to OHP Troopers.

Troopers say it happened after a driver in a pickup truck began traveling in the wrong direction along I-235 northbound. The driver then merged onto I-44, then northbound I-35 in the wrong direction.

Troopers say that is when the driver crashed head-on with a semi.

The driver of the truck was killed in the crash, the semi-driver was not hurt.

OHP Troopers say they were already pursuing the driver at the time of the deadly crash.
