Tulsa police arrested a man who they say vandalized eight businesses along Route 66 Friday morning.

Police said surveillance video shows 40-year-old Bradford Hart throwing planters, manhole covers and other items through windows.

The owner of one of the vandalized businesses called police Saturday morning and said they saw Hart at QuikTrip near Route 66 and Utica.

"He was wearing the same clothes he wore yesterday. One of the business owners actually recognized him, followed him down here, called us. We met him inside, he was getting a little rowdy in there. And we took him into custody," Officer Delmont with the TPD said.

Police said the damage ranged from $750 to $2,000 to replace or fix the windows.

Police arrested Hart on eight complaints of malicious mischief.

Officers said Hart also had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court.
