OCPD: Suspect Accused Of Rape Drinks Bleach Before Surrendering To Authorities

Oklahoma City police released new details regarding an apartment standoff Tuesday night.

Authorities said they responded to a rape call near North Rockwell Avenue and West Wilshire Boulevard where they said the suspect, identified as Tiger Sewell, barricaded himself inside the apartment.

Documents said Sewell then drank bleach before surrendering peacefully to officers.

He was taken to the hospital and then booked into jail.

Sewell faces multiple complaints, including first-degree rape.
