2 Charges Dropped For Former Shawnee Assistant Athletic Director Accused Of Sexual Misconduct

Prosecutors dropped rape and forcible sodomy charges against former Shawnee assistant athletic director Ron Arthur.

Several former students accused Arthur of sexual misconduct dating back several years.

In 2018, Arthur faced a Title 9 investigation regarding his behavior and was also suspended multiple times between 2007-2008.

He appeared in court in April of this year.

Arthur still faces a charge of soliciting sexual contact with a minor by use of technology.
