Grandmother Charged In Death Of 3-Year-Old Girl

Cleveland County officials said a grandmother has been charged in the death of a 3-year-old earlier this month.

Authorities said Becky Vreeland is facing one count of first-degree murder by child abuse.

Oklahoma City police were called to a home June 22 near Southwest 149th Street and South Santa Fe Avenue.

Officers then discovered the body of 3-year-old Riley Lynn Nolan in a trash receptacle at the home.

She remains in the Cleveland County jail on $5 million bond.
