OU Softball Team Up For Multiple Awards

The Oklahoma softball team is up for several awards at a major award show next month.

The Sooners have been nominated for three ESPYs, and you can help them take home some hardware.

First, OU is one of seven teams nominated for "Best Team."

The Sooners will have some tough competition against the likes of the Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Rams and Georgia Bulldogs football team.

As for individual awards, slugger Jocelyn Alo is up for two awards: one for "Best Record-Breaking Performance" after breaking the record for most home runs in NCAA Division I history.

Alo is also up for "Best College Athlete" honors.

The ESPYs are set for July 20.
