Oklahoma City fire officials released details Friday on a five-alarm fire that destroyed The Canton at Classen Curve apartments earlier this year.
The Feb. 8 fire destroyed the yet-to-be-opened complex near Northwest 63rd Street and North Western Avenue.
According to the report, officials said the fire was "accidental," caused by an electrical malfunction.

The fire department said nearly 140 personnel (138) were dispatched to the scene in attempts to get the fire under control.
The structure, valued at $65 million, is considered a total loss.
Nearly three full days later, around 3 p.m. on Feb. 11, firefighters extinguished the fire and demolition of the structure was complete.
