Police Investigating Deadly Shooting, Victim Dies Outside Mercy Hospital

One person was killed following a deadly shooting Sunday night.

Oklahoma City police said they were called to the Mercy Hospital parking lot near West Memorial Road and North Meridian Avenue. 

Mercy staff told officers that someone dropped off a woman that had a gunshot wound to the head.

Police said she died in the process of transferring her to OU Health.

Homicide investigators haven't ruled whether this was a homicide, accidental or a suicide.

Officers said they have a possible suspect detained.

The investigation is ongoing.
