OU football head coach Brent Venables is not afraid to shake things up with a football clinic for ladies.
"It's just a day for the women of Sooner Nation to join us at the football facility and pull back the curtain on everything OU football," said Zulaikha Losman.
It's a day where Oklahoma women will get to meet the new head coach and his players, all while benefiting his charity, Coach V's 212-degree Foundation.
"Those three areas are domestic violence, addiction, and cancer research," said Losman. "These are all things near and dear to Venables' story and testimony."
Now, not only will women get to hear from the new offensive and defensive coordinators, but they will also hear testimony from female leaders from OU.
"We will be walking around the facility and moving from different areas. It is low impact, and any participation for people getting involved is voluntary," said Losman.
A day to give back and empower women. A charity fundraiser will offer some Sooner experiences that people will want to see.
"We are going to have experiences. We have heard of OU-Texas tickets and possibilities of riding the bus and maybe dinner with coach and his wife," said Lindsi Niebur.
The camp happens on July 16.
