The US Marshal Service, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Seminole County Sheriff's Office have located Lebron Samuels Jr following a chase Tuesday in Seminole County.
The suspect was spotted in his vehicle, he immediately fled the scene and initiated a police chase, according to authorities.
Authorities said Samuels lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a wooded area where he fled on foot.
A perimeter was set up by the U.S. Marshals, according to authorities.
With assistance from the Oklahoma City Police Department helicopter and K9 units, authorities were able to capture and arrest Samuels just after 6 p.m. Tuesday after a three hour manhunt.
Authorities found a handgun in the vehicle, and they transported Samuels to the Pottawatomie Safety Center.
Authorities said Samuels was wanted for violation of his federal supervised release on an original charge of felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition along with a felony warrant for trafficking narcotics out of Pottawatomie County.
Samuels was booked on both arrests, and a federal prosecution is wanted for the possession of a firearm, according to authorities.
U.S. Marshalls were on the case with assistance from the Seminole Police Department.
Samuels was wanted for federal supervised release violations and drug trafficking in Pottawatomie County.
