OBI Hosts Boots & Badges Blood Drive At Paycom Center

It was a party for a good cause at the Paycom Center Saturday for the 5th annual Boots and Badges Blood Drive.

Officers and firefighters came together with the Oklahoma Blood Institution offering free food and games for the kids.

The OBI says giving blood saves lives and they make the process quick and easy.

"You have to be at least 16 years old, you have to meet certain weight requirements, sometimes your iron levels have to be high enough to donate." said Carson Cunningham with the OBI. "But it's a pretty simple, easy process, we'll get you in and get you out and it shouldn't take more than 30, 45 minutes honestly."
