One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident Saturday night in Garvin County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

One person was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident Saturday night in Garvin County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Jamie Akerman was standing in the southbound lane of State Highway 74 where a car struck her.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene due to injuries she had sustained in the collision, according to OHP.

The condition of the driver was apparently normal, according to OHP.

The accident happened about two miles south of Maysville.
