Mega Millions Jackpot Grows To More Than $1 Billion

The Mega Millions lottery jackpot has reached a staggering $1.1 billion. That makes it the third largest jackpot in lottery history. 

During the Tuesday drawing, nine people matched 5 of the numbers but were missing the all important Mega Ball.

There is a better chance to win if you get your numbers automated. 

According to Lotto Numbers, 17 has been drawn 48 times more than the next highest picked number. 

While there are a lot of people out buying tickets across the state, there is some unfortunate news for Okies. 

"No Oklahoman has ever won the Mega Millions jackpot," said Abby Morgan with the Oklahoma Lottery Commission. 

The Mega Millions drawing is scheduled for Friday, July 29 at 10 p.m.
