Suspect In Connection With Duncan Homicide Found Dead

A man wanted for questioning by the Duncan Police Department was found dead.

The man, identified as 32-year-old Tyler W. Alexander, was wanted for questioning by police after they responded to a shooting call Sunday afternoon. Authorities said they found one woman stabbed to death and another woman with a gunshot wound.

The deceased woman has been identified as 40-year-old Kristy Fixico. The gunshot victim was flown by helicopter to a hospital in Oklahoma City and is expected to make a full recovery.

Police located Alexander's vehicle approximately nine miles west of Duncan and then found Alexander's body approximately one-half mile from the vehicle.

Authorities on scene said Alexander appeared to have died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. The medical examiner will determine Alexander's cause of death.
