Early voting for the primary run-off elections open Aug. 18 for voters across all of Oklahoma’s 77 counties.

Runoff elections are for when no candidate received more than 50% of the vote in June’s primary election.

The biggest race is for Sen. Jim Inhofe’s soon-to-be vacant U.S. Senate seat. Congressman Markwayne Mullen and Former state House Speaker T.W. Shannon are competing to advance to the general election to face Democrat Kendra Horn.

On the other side of the ticket, Democrats will decide between Madison Horn and Jason Bollinger to head to the big show in November against incumbent U.S. Senator James Lankford.

At the state level, Republicans will pick their candidates for state superintendent, treasurer, labor commissioner and corporation commissioner.

Further down the ticket, Oklahoma County Democrats in District 1 will choose between Anastasia Pittman or incumbent Carrie Blumert for Oklahoma County Commissioner.

Republicans in District 3 will choose their candidate for Oklahoma County Commissioner between Myles Davidson and Amy Alexander.

Early in-person voting runs from Aug. 18 to Aug. 19 from 8am to 6pm, and Aug. 20 from 8-to-2. Visit your county's election board website to find an early voting location.
