Oklahoma City Police said they're investigating after a vehicle crashed Thursday morning into a northwest Oklahoma City home.
The victim didn't want to go on camera, but she told News 9 she's pretty shaken up after a car drove through her bedroom, knocking her off her bed.
Police said a car drove through multiple yards and startled neighbors like Bryan Niermeier.
“It was kind of bizarre because it’s not every day you wake up in the middle of the night and somebody’s drove through your fence and crashed into a neighbor’s house. Yea it was kind of a weird deal,” Neirmeier said.
The crash damaged two fences.
“The neighbor across the street his fence just got rebuilt this year also. They just moved in recently so that’s a nice welcome to the neighborhood,” Neirmeier said.
Oklahoma City Police said the impact launched the victim's bed about four feet and made a hole in the side of the home.
The victim said she’s thankful she only sustained minor injuries. Police said a witness saw a woman walking in the area around the time of the crash, but no one was found in the car.
As the sun came up, people began picking up the pieces. The hole is now boarded up, and Niermeier said he has a new project for the day.
“I had to call into work and say ehh i’m not going to be in somebody drove through my fence,” Neirmeier said.
Niermeier said supplies to fix his fence were around $180.
“I got to get it fixed because I own dogs, and I need to make sure that they’re secure and obviously nobody has access to our yard.’
He's praying his neighbor has a speedy recovery and said it could've been worse.
“It’s a weird feeling because our bedroom is right here, that’s our master bedroom, so it could’ve easily been parked in our bathroom or our bedroom as well,” Neirmeier said.
Police said they're still investigating the crash.
Right now, No arrests have been made.
