Proposed Bill Seeks To Limit Federal Law Enforcement Overreach

A proposed bill in the Oklahoma legislature hopes to protect counties from federal overreach or encroachment.

Rep. Rick West filed a bill that would require federal agencies to inform county sheriff offices before conducting any raids or warrantless arrests within their jurisdiction.

Federal authorities would also have to give an approximate date, time and reason for the raid or arrest.
