A lot is going on in Oklahoma City in 2023; whether that's restaurant openings or attractions, there is something for everybody.

It's a sight to see from I-35 that the $40 million Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine is set to open its doors this year.

Flying in and out of the city, people can see new technology that’ll get people through security faster, along with new shopping and dining options in the terminal at Will Rogers World Airport, or people can go visit the new bike plaza, outdoor classroom, community garden and play area at Riversport OKC.

People will also soon be able to visit the Clara Luper Civil Rights Museum, funding for the $26 million project from MAPS 4.

People will see a new multipurpose stadium along with new pro teams calling the city home.

OKC Spark will hit off their first season along with a new semi-professional football team.

The state fairgrounds will be working on its new coliseum.

In just that area alone, it has a $220 million economic impact, with experts believing the new building will add an additional 10 percent.

"We are in the process of mobilizing a construction company. The first thing that will happen is the front lobby will be taken off," Scott Munz with the OKC Fairgrounds said.
