Athena Brownfield was reported missing Jan. 10 but may have been missing for weeks before that. One of the two suspects in Athena's disappearance, Ivon Adams, is expected to be extradited to Oklahoma in the coming days. Adams was taken into custody last week in Arizona after a warrant was issued for his arrest in Oklahoma. He is accused of first-degree murder and child neglect.
Adams waived his right to a hearing in court Friday, speeding up his return to Caddo County.
Ivon's wife, Alysia Adams, was arrested on Thursday in Oklahoma on two complaints of child neglect.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said the pair were Athena's caregivers when she was reported missing.
Law enforcement and members of the community came together last week to search for Athena, and gathered again on Saturday for a vigil to pray for the little girl's safe return.
However, OSBI agents announced Monday that their efforts were now to find the girl's remains.
