Local Cleaning Services See Spike In Requests From Gyms

As the number of gym goers rises as many come to fulfill their New Year's resolutions, the need to sanitize workout equipment is escalating as well.

Local commercial cleaning company Stratus Building Solutions said it is seeing a spike in gyms requesting their services.

The company said gyms are heavy spreaders of illnesses like COVID-19 and the flu.

Experts said gym goers can protect themselves by disinfecting gym equipment before and after use, and bringing their own water bottle instead of using the water fountain.
