Vacuum maker Bissell is recalling more than 60,000 of its cordless multi-surface wet dry vacuums due to a fire hazard involving the vacuum's battery.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the battery pack can overheat and create smoke.
This comes after five separate reports of the vacuum catching fire, leading to three instances of minor property damage and one burn injury.
Consumers are cautioned to immediately stop using the recalled vacuums and contact Bissell for a free battery pack replacement.
