OSBI Offering Child Abuse Training To Officers

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is offering a week-long child abuse training to officers.

Child abuse cases are on the rise, according to OSBI, so this kind of training is becoming more important.

"We are using this training to emphasize the importance of multidisciplinary teams," Aungela Spurlock, OSBI Director, said.

Topics for the training include how to respond to child sexual and physical abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
