'No Active Threat' At Caddo Kiowa Technology Center After Report Of Shots Fired, OHP Says

The Caddo Kiowa Technology Center has been placed on lockdown after reports of shots fired Thursday according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

UPDATE 12:23 P.M.: The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said they are still on scene, but there is not an active threat.

The Caddo Kiowa Technology Center has been placed on lockdown after reports of shots fired Thursday, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers on scene have said they have no evidence of shots being fired.

The school was placed on lockdown as a precaution as they clear the school, according to troopers.

Carnegie Schools released the following statement:

We have been provided information that the Caddo-Kiowa Technology Center is currently under lock-down. At this time they are holding all students and will not run afternoon run bus routes until they are cleared to do so.
According to information gathered through our local law enforcement, a call was made that shots were fired at a vehicle in close proximity to the campus. Law enforcement is on campus at the technology center to ensure that there is not a shooter present and have stated that all students are accounted for and safe at this time. We will update this information as soon as possible.
We are not currently on lockdown at our school sites in Carnegie.
