United Airlines is revamping its seating policy to allow parents traveling with children under the age of 12 the ability to see and book adjacent seats at no additional charge.

This comes two weeks after President Biden called on Congress to ban airlines from charging "preferred seating fees" in order for families to sit together.

The change will start next month.
