Groundbreaking Ceremony For New Fairgrounds Coliseum Scheduled For Wednesday

Oklahoma City leaders will meet at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds as they get ready to break ground for the new coliseum.

The groundbreaking ceremony takes place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Jim Norick Arena.

The $126 million project is funded through the MAPS 4 program.

The new venue will seat more than 7,000 people and include a full-service restaurant.

Construction is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
