A line of storms swept across Oklahoma Sunday night, leaving many structures damaged and a new record for the highest total of monthly tornadoes.

Feb. 2023 now has the highest total with a preliminary of 12 tornadoes reported.
Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt released the following statement on Twitter:
My heart goes out to the communities impacted by last night’s severe weather; especially those hit hardest like Cheyenne and my hometown of Norman. Thank you to our emergency response teams and power crews that have been working tirelessly to restore power across the state.
Norman city officials gathered Monday morning to provide an update after a line of storms damaged homes and businesses Sunday night in Norman.
Twelve injuries were reported in Norman, but none were life threatening, according to Norman Police Chief Kevin Foster.
The town of Cheyenne in western Oklahoma is among the hardest hit in the state. Levi Blackketter, the emergency manager for Roger Mills County joined News 9 Monday morning with an update.
News 9's Natalie Cruz was in Roger Mills County Monday morning and spoke with a family who lost their home during the storms.
News 9's Jordan Dafnis was on the scene Monday morning in Shawnee where severe storms have severely damaged several buildings.
50 structures were damaged in Pottawatomie County, according to Emergency Management Director Chad Lardman.
