A bill which would serve harsher punishments for domestic violence against pregnant women passed with full Oklahoma Senate support.

Senate Bill 1046 would make a violator's first conviction a felony, and would also move the punishment from one year in prison to five.

The bill now moves to the Oklahoma House of Representatives.
