Social Security Administration Raising Awareness Of Scams

The Social Security Administration is raising awareness for imposter scams during its annual “Slam the Scam” Day.

Agents will never warn you if your Social Security number is suspended and won’t contact you to demand immediate payment.

Agents will also never threaten arrest.

The Federal Trade Commission will post more advice on its Twitter page Thursday at 3 p.m.
