Sooners, Cowgirls Qualify For 2023 Women's Basketball Tournament

The Sooners and Cowgirls are both in the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

Oklahoma earned a five seed and will face No. 12 Portland in the first round of the Greenville region.

The Sooners finished 25-6 (14-4 Big 12) and are coming off a tournament defeat to Iowa State, who went on to win it all.

Oklahoma State fell to Texas in the Big 12 Tournament last week, but still secured the eight seed against No. 9 Miami (FL). ]

OSU had a 21-11 (10-8 Big 12) record this season.

Both teams are scheduled to play on March 18, the times for those games have not been released.
