Heavy Damage Reported After Norman Apartment Fire

The Norman Fire Department reports no serious injuries after putting out an apartment fire on Dean's Row, Monday.

The Norman Fire Department arrived just after 2 p.m. and found a 2-story apartment on fire.

Occupants on the second floor were able to jump to safety and the occupants on the first floor were able to safely exit.

The fire was extinguished quickly, according to Norman officials.

There is heavy smoke, fire and water damage to the building, officials said.

The cause is still under investigation.
