Tulsa Man Arrested, Accused Of Kidnapping, Abusing Woman

A Tulsa man has been arrested and is accused of kidnapping a woman and putting her into a clothes dryer, according to Tulsa Police.

Investigators say they got a tip that Demarque Hammon had hurt the woman and later found him walking with her and holding her tightly. They say Hammon had been keeping her inside and wouldn't let her leave. Police say Hammon told her to take off her clothes and go outside, and when she grabbed the door handle, he attacked her. They say he then forced the woman into a clothes dryer and turned it on.

Hammon was booked on several complaints including kidnapping, domestic assault & battery, and is being held on $250,000 bond.
