Family Of Fallen OCSO Sgt. Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Suspect

The man accused of shooting and killing a sergeant with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office and seriously injuring a deputy last year is now facing a wrongful death lawsuit.

The family of Bobby Swartz filed the civil lawsuit against Benjamin Plank on Monday in connection to the deadly shooting.

Swartz’s family is looking for $75,000 in restitution.

A court date has not been set for the lawsuit.
