Oklahoma CO. Sheriff's Office Holding Prayer Vigil For Wounded Deputy

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office is hosting a candlelight prayer vigil Wednesday night for a deputy who nearly died in a crash last week.

Deputy Jeremy McCain was seriously injured when he crashed into a gate which went through his windshield and pinned him in his car.

The sheriff's office said he was revived three times and is still on the long road to recovery.

The prayer vigil will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at OU Health.

The sheriff's office said anyone attending should flameless or electric candles only.
