Human Remains Found In Pottawatomie County; Authorities Investigate

Authorities are investigating after human remains were found earlier this month in Pottawatomie County.

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office said human remains were discovered on March 7 in St. Louis, Okla.

The remains were discovered by people who run cattle on a property near North State Street and Cherry Hill Road

The sheriff’s office confirmed to News 9 that a skull was found amongst the remains.

Multiple agencies are investigating, including Oklahoma Search and Rescue, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the sheriff's office, Tribal Police and the state Medical Examiner's Office.
